Happy Donut Day! My thoughts on this for today… enjoy.

Glazed.

Baked.

Bread.

Perfection.

Working out, specifically, to eat one – two. Three.

The feeling from refraining from eating a bakers dozen – losing.

Diet? See-food. I eat it. Yum.

I will return to health, tomorrow. But wait.

Left over donuts. What will become of me?

If I eat 2 donuts, out of 13 donuts, but eat 2 more donuts what will I have?

Diabetes.

The Beginning

This is the beginning.

A new chapter, a new page, a new sentence, a new word. This is the end of something that was supposed to happen, that was good that happened, that may happen again. This is the beginning of someone who is no longer going to be afraid, of being afraid.

The beginning of someone who is no longer afraid of herself. Who is no longer afraid to be creative. Who is no longer afraid to step out of the darkness and into the light. Who is no longer afraid to inhale deeply and fill her heart with happiness. Who is no longer afraid to take a step towards freedom and away from chains. Who is no longer afraid to be different, think different, or act different. Who is no longer afraid of love. Who is no longer afraid to be loved. Who is no longer afraid of commitment. Who is no longer afraid to say ‘yes’. Who is no longer afraid to just, be.

The beginning of someone who is no longer afraid of adventure. Who is no longer afraid to experience life. Who is no longer afraid to succeed. Who is no longer afraid to fail. Who is no longer afraid of being excited for the future. Who is no longer afraid of the mysteries of the unknown. Who is no longer afraid of change. Who is no longer to be afraid of the lessons of the world. Who is no longer afraid, to live.

This is the start of someone who is no longer afraid of being. The start of something that needs to happen, that is good that is happening, that may happen again. It is the start of a new chapter, of a new page, of a new sentence, period. This is the beginning.

The beginning of me.
